Holdfast. Album Art
Holdfast. is a band that is very close to my heart. They are an alternative rock band based in Fort Collins, Colorado—and they are also family! If you like the sound of Coldplay or Muse, I highly recommend you listen to their music. They do not disappoint.
I was fortunate enough to collaborate with the band members and design their past few album covers! Check out the designs for Holdfast’s ep, ‘Hard to Blame,’ single release, ‘Time,’ and album release, ‘Stay and Fight.’
Merchandise
Not only have I had the privilege of designing this fun t-shirt design for the band, but I actually followed Holdfast. on their 2022 UK tour to help sell merchandise. This was a trip to remember, as I engaged with fans every night over the course of 3 weeks. It was so rewarding to support Holdfast. on their journey and sell my designs along the way!
Find A Way
Another project I’ve collaborated on was this live performance video for the Taste of Fort Collins festival. Alongside headlining band, Neon Trees, Holdfast. took part in a livestream digital experience.
Not only are we in the midst of a global pandemic, but we are living through the Black Lives Matter movement and learning how to respond to the realities of this fight against systemic racism. I have been convicted and humbled during this process and I am learning everyday. After participating in a protest for Elijah McClain, the flame was even more so ignited. We felt that the voices of our brothers and sisters needed to be amplified, and the Taste of Fort Collins was a platform that we couldn’t take ignorantly. Find A Way is dedicated to the lives that were lost to police brutality and racism. The protest footage captures our experience at the Elijah McClain protest in Aurora. We must listen and learn from these tragedies so that we can make a collective change.
I designed a typography-based video via After Effects for this project. This video was showcased behind the band in the live performance video. I also helped with the filming and production for the live stream.
